History of PHDA
Our journey of service, growth, and community building
Formation
PHDA was founded to unify doctors of Purva Haveli under one umbrella, creating a platform for professional collaboration, academic growth, and community service. The association emerged from the vision of bringing together healthcare professionals to serve the underserved communities while fostering fellowship among peers.
Founding Members: The association was initiated by a group of dedicated doctors who recognized the need for organized healthcare delivery and professional development in the Purva Haveli region.
Foundation & Registration
PHDA was established and registered as a charitable trust & cooperative society.
Start of RDPL Cricket League
Introduced sports activities with the launch of the RDPL cricket tournament.
Addition of Volleyball Tournament
Expanded sports activities with the introduction of the PHDA Volleyball championship.
First Cultural Mega-Event — Jallosh
Launched Jallosh, the grand cultural celebration bringing families together.
Launch of HITGUJ Publication
Started the annual HITGUJ publication for medical knowledge sharing.
First Academic Conference
Held PHDA’s inaugural annual academic conference bringing together medical professionals.
Strong Association
PHDA has grown into a strong association with members across multiple specialties, known for academics, social service, sports, and cultural celebrations.
